The ASUS TUF Dash 15 is better for gaming and intensive tasks like 3D rendering or machine learning, with a more powerful GPU, higher refresh rate screen, and good performance scores for these activities. It also has a gaming laptop appearance and hardware ray tracing capability. However, it's heavier and less portable than the Dell Latitude 5530. The Dell Latitude, on the other hand, offers professional styling, is lighter and therefore more portable, and comes with Windows 11 Pro. It has a less powerful processor and no dedicated GPU, which makes it better suited for general use and business tasks rather than gaming or engineering applications. Both have similar battery life, good screens, and are similarly priced. If top-notch gaming or engineering capabilities are less important than portability and professional use, the Dell Latitude 5530 is the preferable option. However, if you need higher performance for graphics-intensive tasks, the ASUS TUF Dash 15 is the better choice. Give Feedback

NotebookCheck

Sascha Mölck | July 2022
"The Asus TUF Dash F15 FX517ZR is a laptop with mobile RTX 3070 and acceptable battery life. The Asus TUF Dash F15 was made for high-performance applications like video editing, rendering, and gaming. The laptop can manage the latter in QHD resolution and at high to maximum settings. However, the focus isn't on maximum performance, but instead, it's about a compromise between performance and portability."
