For a high-performance experience, especially in gaming, 3D rendering, and machine learning, the Asus ROG Strix Scar 17 X3D is the clear choice with its superior processor, dedicated Nvidia RTX 4090 GPU, and ample RAM. It offers a vibrant, high-refresh-rate display, making it suitable for fast-paced action and detailed visual work. However, it's heavier and less portable, with a price to match its premium features. In contrast, the Lenovo IdeaPad 3 17" is more budget-friendly and portable, suitable for general use with its integrated AMD Vega 7 graphics and lower power consumption, which also contributes to longer battery life. It's a better fit for everyday tasks like web browsing, office applications, and media consumption. But it falls short in performance and display quality compared to the Asus, making it less ideal for demanding applications or high-end gaming. Give Feedback

Alex Iliev | December 2022
"The Lenovo IdeaPad 3 17" defies expectations. Indeed, it is just a minor upgrade over last year. However, this doesn’t make the laptop any less terrific. It’s got a great performance, courtesy of the Ryzen 5x25U processors. In addition, you get a pretty good battery life. Perhaps, the 2-hour decrease in video playback, compared to last year is not great, but still, 10 hours of Web browsing and 7 hours of video playback is okay for 17-inch notebooks."
