For a balance of performance and portability, the Gigabyte Aorus 15X is a strong contender. It offers a high-performance CPU and a capable GPU that will handle most tasks with ease, including gaming and creative work, while being more compact and lighter than the Asus. However, if you prioritize top-tier gaming and professional rendering capabilities and don't mind a larger, heavier laptop, the Asus ROG Strix Scar 17 X3D with its superior GPU and additional RAM will deliver exceptional performance. The Asus also boasts a higher quality display with better color accuracy and brightness, which is crucial for immersive gaming and detailed visual work. Consider your need for portability versus the ultimate performance for intensive tasks when making your choice. Give Feedback

How the Asus ROG Strix Scar 17 X3D and the Gigabyte Aorus 15X compare to other laptops
"The Gigabyte Aorus 15X is a strong showing of Raptor Lake and RTX 4000 series. While the Aorus had trouble keeping up in older games like Grand Theft Auto V, it nudged past the competition in Shadow of the Tomb Raider. It also flexed its next-generation muscle in Far Cry 6 and Borderlands 3. While we were impressed with the overall build quality and design of the Aorus 15X, the keyboard lacked good tactile feedback. The display performed well in real-world testing despite its on-paper shortcoming with brightness, but the speakers are lackluster at best."
