The ASUS ROG Strix Scar 17 is a top-tier gaming laptop with a high-performance CPU and GPU, making it ideal for intensive tasks like gaming, 3D rendering, and machine learning. Its larger 17.3-inch screen with a 360Hz refresh rate is excellent for fast-paced action, though it's not a touchscreen. However, it's heavy, less portable, and comes with a premium price tag.
On the other hand, the Lenovo LOQ 15i offers a more balanced approach at a lower midrange price. It still provides robust performance with a newer generation CPU and a capable GPU, suitable for general use and moderate gaming or creative work. Its 15.6-inch screen has a lower refresh rate of 144Hz, which is still good for gaming, and it's more compact and slightly lighter, making it more portable than the ASUS.
If you prioritize top-of-the-line performance and a larger screen for gaming or professional work and are willing to compromise on portability and cost, the ASUS is the way to go. However, if you want a more affordable and portable option without sacrificing too much performance, the Lenovo LOQ 15i is a solid choice. Give Feedback

How the ASUS ROG Strix Scar 17 and the Lenovo LOQ 15i compare to other laptops
"Asus ROG Strix Scar 17 laptop review: liquid metal 7 nm AMD Zen 3 is stunning. The raw performance increase is absolutely bonkers if you're upgrading from a laptop on Coffee Lake-H or older. The 45 W Ryzen 9 5900HX is neck-to-neck with the thicker, heavier, and hotter Schenker Ultra 17 running on a desktop-class Core i9-11900K despite their wide TDP differences. The performance-per-watt advantages can make Intel Rocket Lake feel like a last generation platform at times. As for the chassis itself, it's a huge light show with RGB LEDs on almost all sides of the system."
"Even after a short time with the LOQ 15, you'll find it has a lot going for it, but ultimately it's just "good"—not quite a star. The performance is respectable for the hardware it’s running, but Lenovo had to make some design sacrifices to trim the price. One of the better aspects is the keyboard, making it one of the better low-cost gaming laptops to actually put your hands on."
