The ASUS ROG Strix Scar 17 offers high performance for intensive gaming, 3D work, or engineering with a powerful processor and GPU, but has lower portability due to its larger size and weight. Its high refresh rate is great for fast-paced games, though the battery life is limited. Alternatively, the ASUS Zenbook Duo is more portable and has a better battery life, making it suitable for general use and multitasking with a unique dual-screen design, although it's less equipped for heavy-duty tasks or gaming due to its integrated graphics. If high-end gaming or performance for demanding applications is crucial and cost is not the primary concern, lean towards the Strix Scar 17. If you prioritize a lighter device with longer battery life for everyday tasks and occasional creative work, consider the Zenbook Duo. Give Feedback

How the ASUS ROG Strix Scar 17 and the ASUS Zenbook Duo (2024) compare to other laptops
"Asus ROG Strix Scar 17 laptop review: liquid metal 7 nm AMD Zen 3 is stunning. The raw performance increase is absolutely bonkers if you're upgrading from a laptop on Coffee Lake-H or older. The 45 W Ryzen 9 5900HX is neck-to-neck with the thicker, heavier, and hotter Schenker Ultra 17 running on a desktop-class Core i9-11900K despite their wide TDP differences. The performance-per-watt advantages can make Intel Rocket Lake feel like a last generation platform at times. As for the chassis itself, it's a huge light show with RGB LEDs on almost all sides of the system."
"The Asus ZenBook Duo's second screen is like the Apple Touch Bar, but better. Most would agree that having two screens instead of one can really boost productivity and the ZenBook Duo is no different in this regard. It's tough going back to just one screen after becoming accustomed to spacious dual-screen setups. For a laptop form factor, however, users will have to accept some compromises. Firstly, weight is the most obvious drawback as the system is several hundred grams heavier than a regular ZenBook 14. Additionally, colors on the second screen will not be as vivid as the main display."
