The ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15 is a high-performing laptop suited for intensive gaming, 3D rendering, and engineering work, with a more powerful processor, superior GPU, and more RAM and storage than the MSI Bravo 15. However, it's heavier, a bit bulkier, and has slightly lesser battery life, making it less portable. The MSI Bravo 15, while less expensive and a bit lighter, offers less power which might be enough for general use and some gaming but could struggle with demanding engineering applications. If performing complex tasks and playing high-end games at the best settings is important to you, and you don't mind the additional weight and cost, choose the ASUS. If you prefer a more budget-friendly option that's easier to carry around for everyday tasks and less intensive gaming, go for the MSI. Give Feedback

The ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15 is very good for gaming and AI, while the MSI Bravo 15 is good.
The ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15 surpasses the MSI Bravo 15 for gaming and 3D performance, largely due to its more powerful Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti GPU and a higher screen refresh rate of 300, providing smoother gameplay and better handling of complex 3D tasks. While the MSI Bravo 15 also performs well with a capable Nvidia RTX 4050 GPU and a decent refresh rate of 144, it doesn't match the ASUS's top-tier graphics capability and ultra-smooth display, making the ASUS more suitable for the most demanding gaming and 3D applications.

The ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15 has a better screen than the MSI Bravo 15 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15, with its high resolution and brightness, ensures crisp and clear visuals that are essential for everyday tasks and detailed engineering work, while its color coverage caters well to designers needing accurate color representation. However, its lower refresh rate may not be ideal for the smooth visuals gaming and 3D applications demand. In contrast, the MSI Bravo 15 offers sufficient quality for typical daily activities, feasibly supports engineering tasks with its acceptable color accuracy, but like the ASUS, it falls short for gaming and 3D content due to a less optimal refresh rate.

"Asus continues to refine the ROG Strix Scar lineup with new upgrades. The Asus ROG Strix Scar 15 offers almost everything you would expect from a gaming laptop at this price. The build quality is great, connectivity options are decent, and there is enough scope for internal upgrades as well. Asus reverts to membrane switches for the keyboard — though not as "clickety" as the opto-mechanical ones we saw with last year's model, they still make for a decent typing and gaming experience. The lack of biometrics in any form is a downer."
"Overall, the MSI Bravo 15 C7U is a great gaming device for the masses that isn’t too pricey. The capable hardware (for the price range), the 144Hz display, and the comfortable keyboard are one of the things that should attract buyers who don’t want to spend a fortune on a new gaming laptop."
