For a balance of performance and portability with a focus on gaming, engineering tasks, and general use, the ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15 is a solid choice with its powerful i9 processor and RTX 3070 Ti graphics card, though it's heavier and has a shorter battery life compared to the Lenovo Yoga Pro 9i. On the other hand, if you prioritize a superior display with touchscreen capabilities, longer battery life, and a more compact and lightweight design for general productivity and content consumption, the Lenovo Yoga Pro 9i with its Mini LED display and newer RTX 4050 graphics would be more suitable. The Yoga Pro 9i also offers better color accuracy and a higher resolution screen, making it ideal for tasks that require color precision and detail. However, it may not match the raw gaming and engineering performance of the ASUS due to its less powerful GPU and CPU. Give Feedback

How the ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15 and the Lenovo Yoga Pro 9i compare to other laptops
"Asus continues to refine the ROG Strix Scar lineup with new upgrades. The Asus ROG Strix Scar 15 offers almost everything you would expect from a gaming laptop at this price. The build quality is great, connectivity options are decent, and there is enough scope for internal upgrades as well. Asus reverts to membrane switches for the keyboard — though not as "clickety" as the opto-mechanical ones we saw with last year's model, they still make for a decent typing and gaming experience. The lack of biometrics in any form is a downer."
