If you prioritize gaming or tasks like 3D modeling, the ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15 with its more powerful processor and graphics card will deliver better performance. However, it is heavier and has a shorter battery life, making it less portable than the Lenovo Yoga 6. The Yoga is lighter, offers longer battery use between charges, and includes a touchscreen with a higher resolution, which could be beneficial for general use and tasks that benefit from portability and touch interaction. If affordability is key, the Lenovo Yoga 6 will be more budget-friendly while still offering good performance for everyday tasks and some light creative work. Give Feedback

The ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15 is very good for gaming and AI, while the Lenovo Yoga 6 is only fair.
The ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15 is excellent for gaming and 3D because it has a powerful Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti graphics card and a high screen refresh rate of 300Hz, which provide smooth and detailed visuals during fast-paced action. In contrast, the Lenovo Yoga 6, with its integrated AMD Vega graphics and a lower screen refresh rate of 60Hz, delivers fair performance that's enough for casual gaming but less suitable for demanding gaming or 3D applications.

The ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15 is very good for engineering and design, while the Lenovo Yoga 6 is good.
The ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15 provides superior performance for engineering and design thanks to a high-end Intel i9 processor, ample RAM, and a powerful Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti graphics card, with a high-refresh-rate full HD screen that, while not the top-tier in resolution, offers fast visuals.

The ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15 has a better screen than the Lenovo Yoga 6 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, and content creation.
The ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15 offers a display with superior color accuracy and a high resolution that benefits engineering and general computing by producing crisp and vibrant visuals, but for gaming, its lower refresh rate makes fast-paced visuals less smooth. On the other hand, the Lenovo Yoga 6 has sufficient brightness and resolution for daily tasks and engineering but lacks the higher refresh rate and superior color range that would make it ideal for gaming and 3D applications. Given these factors, the ASUS is more suitable for performance-demanding engineering work and everyday use, while neither laptop is optimized for gaming due to their refresh rate limitations.

How the ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15 and the Lenovo Yoga 6 compare to other laptops
"Asus continues to refine the ROG Strix Scar lineup with new upgrades. The Asus ROG Strix Scar 15 offers almost everything you would expect from a gaming laptop at this price. The build quality is great, connectivity options are decent, and there is enough scope for internal upgrades as well. Asus reverts to membrane switches for the keyboard — though not as "clickety" as the opto-mechanical ones we saw with last year's model, they still make for a decent typing and gaming experience. The lack of biometrics in any form is a downer."
"The AMD R7-7730U in the Lenovo Yoga 6 13 provides a suitable answer to the limited cooling capabilities of a convertible - especially in tablet mode. It draws high computing power from a comparatively limited power supply so that less heat has to be dissipated at the same time."
