When choosing between the ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15 and the Lenovo Legion 5 15", consider the ASUS if you require high performance for tasks like gaming or 3D modeling, as it comes with a powerful combination of an Intel i9 processor and Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti graphics. The Lenovo Legion 5, while more affordable and equipped with the latest RTX 4060 graphics, offers a different processor, the AMD Ryzen 7, which may perform differently in certain applications. However, the Legion has a higher resolution display, which is better for tasks requiring finer detail. The ASUS tends to be less portable due to its weight but has a slightly better battery life. If budget is a major concern, the Lenovo provides competitive performance at a lower price point. Give Feedback

How the ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15 and the Lenovo Legion 5 15" compare to other laptops
"Asus continues to refine the ROG Strix Scar lineup with new upgrades. The Asus ROG Strix Scar 15 offers almost everything you would expect from a gaming laptop at this price. The build quality is great, connectivity options are decent, and there is enough scope for internal upgrades as well. Asus reverts to membrane switches for the keyboard — though not as "clickety" as the opto-mechanical ones we saw with last year's model, they still make for a decent typing and gaming experience. The lack of biometrics in any form is a downer."
"The Lenovo Legion 5 15 is an affordable gaming laptop with a lot of power. The new AMD processor Ryzen 7 5800H offers plenty of performance and it is also very efficient. The combination with the fast 130W version of the GeForce RTX 3060 ensures high gaming performance. We also like the fast 165 Hz display with the 1080p resolution. The automatic graphics switching causes some problems with stutters, which are very annoying. If you do not need long battery runtimes, you should definitely deactivate the hybrid graphics mode in Lenovo's Vantage app. The Legion 5 15 is never silent."
