The ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15 offers a slightly better battery life and is ideal for intensive gaming with its high refresh rate display, but may be more expensive and has lower screen resolution and color accuracy than the Lenovo Legion 5 Pro. On the other hand, the Lenovo Legion 5 Pro provides better display resolution, which is beneficial for engineering and creative work, and its hardware is more recent, but it has a shorter battery life and may not be as suitable for games requiring high refresh rates. Both laptops are similar in terms of performance capabilities, general use, and have similar port configurations, but the Lenovo may offer a better value for money. Consider ASUS for a focus on gaming and battery life, and Lenovo for higher resolution and a balance between performance and cost. Give Feedback

How the ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15 and the Lenovo Legion Pro 5 compare to other laptops
"Asus continues to refine the ROG Strix Scar lineup with new upgrades. The Asus ROG Strix Scar 15 offers almost everything you would expect from a gaming laptop at this price. The build quality is great, connectivity options are decent, and there is enough scope for internal upgrades as well. Asus reverts to membrane switches for the keyboard — though not as "clickety" as the opto-mechanical ones we saw with last year's model, they still make for a decent typing and gaming experience. The lack of biometrics in any form is a downer."
"It doesn't quite match its Legion Pro 7i sibling as an Editors' Choice winner, but Lenovo's AMD-powered Legion Pro 5 Gen 8 is a stylish, well-built gaming laptop with solid performance at both 1080p and its sharper native resolution. It's cheaper than some comparably equipped machines and better than some similarly priced ones. That's a recipe for success, even without its frequent availability of discounts or sales. A brighter screen and longer battery life would be nice, but even as is the Legion Pro 5 earns a solid recommendation."
