The ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15 offers superior performance for intensive tasks such as gaming, 3D rendering, and machine learning due to its higher-end processor and graphics card. It also has a higher refresh rate display, which is better for fast-paced gaming, and more RAM and storage, but it’s heavier and has a shorter battery life, making it less portable. On the other hand, the Gigabyte G5 costs less and is lighter, enhancing its portability, but has less power for demanding applications and a lower refresh rate screen. It's also equipped with a lower capacity battery, reducing the time you can use it unplugged. If budget is a major concern or you need something easier to carry and with a longer battery life for general use, the Gigabyte G5 is a valid option. However, if performance for demanding applications and gaming is critical, the ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15 is the better choice despite its premium price and reduced portability. Give Feedback

How the ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15 and the Gigabyte G5 compare to other laptops
"Asus continues to refine the ROG Strix Scar lineup with new upgrades. The Asus ROG Strix Scar 15 offers almost everything you would expect from a gaming laptop at this price. The build quality is great, connectivity options are decent, and there is enough scope for internal upgrades as well. Asus reverts to membrane switches for the keyboard — though not as "clickety" as the opto-mechanical ones we saw with last year's model, they still make for a decent typing and gaming experience. The lack of biometrics in any form is a downer."
"The Gigabyte G5 KE is a midrange gaming laptop that checks most boxes. Gigabyte makes good use of the Core i5-12500H and RTX 3060 Laptop GPU combo, and we find no untoward issues with overall performance. The dual-fan quad-heatpipe cooling arrangement does well to ensure that the underlying hardware doesn't throttle under load. That being said, the display is below par when compared to 2023 standards, especially when competing devices."
