If you're focused on high-end gaming or resource-intensive tasks like video editing and 3D rendering, the ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15 will serve you well despite the higher cost, as it delivers top-notch performance. However, it's less portable due to its weight and size, and if you're mostly doing everyday tasks, this might be overkill. On the other hand, the Dell Inspiron 15 3530 is more budget-friendly, lighter, and sufficient for general use like web browsing, office applications, and media consumption. Its battery life also tends to be longer, making it suitable for on-the-go use. Keep in mind that while it's more affordable, its performance in demanding applications and games will be limited compared to the ASUS. Give Feedback

The ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15 is very good for gaming and AI, while the Dell Inspiron 15 3530 is only fair.
The ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15 excels in gaming and 3D applications because it has a powerful Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti graphics card and a high screen refresh rate of 300 Hz, which are crucial for smooth and detailed visuals. In contrast, the Dell Inspiron 15 3530's performance in these areas is only fair due to its integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics and a lower screen refresh rate of 120 Hz, which are less capable of handling demanding games and 3D tasks.

The ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15 has a better screen than the Dell Inspiron 15 3530 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, and content creation.
The ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15 likely boasts a high-resolution display with vibrant colors and brightness, suitable for daily tasks and detailed engineering work, but its lower refresh rate may not appeal to gamers who prioritize fluid motion in fast-paced games. The Dell Inspiron 15 3530 probably offers an adequate display for everyday use and technical applications, but without the advanced color gamut coverage required by professional designers, and similarly to the ASUS, its refresh rate isn't optimized for gaming. Both laptops may not satisfy gamers or 3D designers who need high refresh rates for smooth visuals, but they suffice for more standard computing needs and non-color-critical engineering tasks.

How the ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15 and the Dell Inspiron 15 3530 compare to other laptops
"Asus continues to refine the ROG Strix Scar lineup with new upgrades. The Asus ROG Strix Scar 15 offers almost everything you would expect from a gaming laptop at this price. The build quality is great, connectivity options are decent, and there is enough scope for internal upgrades as well. Asus reverts to membrane switches for the keyboard — though not as "clickety" as the opto-mechanical ones we saw with last year's model, they still make for a decent typing and gaming experience. The lack of biometrics in any form is a downer."
