The ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15 is designed for gaming and high-performance tasks with a robust build, powerful graphics, and fast refresh rates, but it is heavier and has a shorter battery life, which affects portability. In contrast, the Dell Inspiron 14 7435 is more suitable for general use and portability, offering a longer battery life, a lighter build, and a touchscreen with a higher resolution in a more compact form, but it has lower performance capabilities for gaming and intensive tasks due to its integrated graphics. Consider how you value gaming and performance versus portability and battery life when making your decision. Give Feedback

How the ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15 and the Dell Inpsiron 14 7435 compare to other laptops
"Asus continues to refine the ROG Strix Scar lineup with new upgrades. The Asus ROG Strix Scar 15 offers almost everything you would expect from a gaming laptop at this price. The build quality is great, connectivity options are decent, and there is enough scope for internal upgrades as well. Asus reverts to membrane switches for the keyboard — though not as "clickety" as the opto-mechanical ones we saw with last year's model, they still make for a decent typing and gaming experience. The lack of biometrics in any form is a downer."
"We see no shame in an economy laptop missing the four-star mark. Frankly, we considered giving the Inspiron 14 2-in-1 three-and-a-half stars for its low price, competitive performance, and long battery life. Unfortunately, working with a screen that can't deliver at least 300 nits of brightness is simply no fun to the point of detrimental. Still, if you're looking for a convertible laptop on a tight budget, it's worth keeping an eye on Dell's sales and discounts. That Lavender Blue model is fairly tempting."
