The ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15 is a higher-priced option with powerful performance suited for intensive gaming and demanding engineering tasks; however, it is less portable due to its weight and has shorter battery life. In contrast, the ASUS Zenbook Pro 15 is more affordable and lightweight with a longer battery life, making it better for general use and portability. It also features a touchscreen and a higher-quality OLED display, but it is less suited for heavy 3D tasks, machine learning, and gaming due to its less powerful processor and graphics card. The ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15 has a better screen than the ASUS Zenbook Pro 15 for gaming and AI, and content creation, while the ASUS Zenbook Pro 15 has a better screen for general use, and engineering and design.
If you prioritize crisp and vivid visuals for everyday tasks or detail-oriented work like engineering and design, the ASUS Zenbook Pro 15 offers superior display clarity and color accuracy, essential for those fields. However, for gaming and 3D applications where smooth motion is crucial, both laptops fall short as they lack the high refresh rates needed for optimal play and animation work. Despite this, the Zenbook's excellent color range and resolution might still appeal to professionals in graphic design or video editing who can forego the ultimate gaming experience.

How the ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15 and the ASUS Zenbook Pro 15 compare to other laptops
"Asus continues to refine the ROG Strix Scar lineup with new upgrades. The Asus ROG Strix Scar 15 offers almost everything you would expect from a gaming laptop at this price. The build quality is great, connectivity options are decent, and there is enough scope for internal upgrades as well. Asus reverts to membrane switches for the keyboard — though not as "clickety" as the opto-mechanical ones we saw with last year's model, they still make for a decent typing and gaming experience. The lack of biometrics in any form is a downer."
"The ASUS Zenbook Pro 15 offers a strong CPU, chassis, and display. One of the most popular 15.6-inch prosumer or multimedia laptops out there is the Dell XPS 15. Thus, comparisons between it and the Asus Zenbook Pro 15 are inevitable. Asus has a couple of tricks up its sleeve that XPS users are still missing out on including 1080p OLED and an AMD Ryzen CPU which help separate the Zenbook Pro 15 from the XPS 15. It also integrates a numpad and a few more port options albeit at the cost of a larger chassis size."
