When choosing between the ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15 and the ASUS Zenbook 14, consider your needs and priorities. The ROG Strix Scar 15 has a more powerful processor and graphics card, making it better for gaming, 3D rendering, and machine learning. It has a larger screen with a high refresh rate, which is great for gaming and animation work. However, it's heavier and has a shorter battery life, making it less portable. On the other hand, the Zenbook 14 is lighter, offers a higher-resolution OLED display, and has a longer battery life, which is ideal for general use, traveling, and productivity tasks. If you need top performance for heavy tasks and don't mind the increased price and reduced portability, go for the Strix Scar 15. But if you prioritize portability, battery life, and a sharper display for everyday tasks, and want to save money, the Zenbook 14 is the better choice. Give Feedback

The ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15 has a better screen than the ASUS Zenbook 14 for gaming and AI, software development, and content creation, while the ASUS Zenbook 14 has a better screen for general use, and engineering and design.
When considering general use, both ASUS laptops offer high-resolution displays and bright panels, with the Zenbook 14 providing a touch sharper image clarity due to its size. For engineering and design tasks, both laptops boast displays with wide color gamuts ensuring that colors are accurately represented, yet the Zenbook 14's exceptional color accuracy edges out slightly. However, for gaming and 3D applications, the ROG Strix Scar 15 falls short because of its lower refresh rate, which is essential for smooth motion rendering, whereas the Zenbook 14, while also not designed for such tasks, doesn't target this use case at all.

How the ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15 and the ASUS Zenbook 14 compare to other laptops
"Asus continues to refine the ROG Strix Scar lineup with new upgrades. The Asus ROG Strix Scar 15 offers almost everything you would expect from a gaming laptop at this price. The build quality is great, connectivity options are decent, and there is enough scope for internal upgrades as well. Asus reverts to membrane switches for the keyboard — though not as "clickety" as the opto-mechanical ones we saw with last year's model, they still make for a decent typing and gaming experience. The lack of biometrics in any form is a downer."
"Users who travel frequently and are looking for a portable laptop are in the right place with the Asus ZenBook 14. The sleek case is extremely light (1.2 kg) and surprisingly thin (1.5 cm). Outdoor use is also enjoyable thanks to the bright Full HD display, which is something that can rarely be said about laptops with TN or IPS panels. The excellent battery life complements this as well. Longer trips are no problem with the ZenBook 14. Another plus point is the high-performance Ryzen 7 5700U, which often leaves the Intel competition in the dust thanks to its large number of cores."
