For a balance of performance and portability, the Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge 16 is a strong contender with its OLED display that offers vibrant colors and deep contrasts, making it excellent for media consumption and general use. It's also lighter and thinner, enhancing its portability. However, if you prioritize gaming, 3D rendering, or engineering tasks, the ASUS ROG Strix G17's superior GPU and higher refresh rate will serve you better, albeit at the cost of portability due to its larger size and shorter battery life. The ASUS also has more USB-C ports and Thunderbolt support, which could be beneficial for connectivity. Consider your primary use case—if it's professional work and mobility, the Samsung is ideal; for intensive tasks and gaming, the ASUS is the way to go. Give Feedback

How the ASUS ROG Strix G17 and the Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge 16 compare to other laptops
"The Asus ROG Strix G17 is an attractive but unbalanced gaming laptop. Its potent AMD Ryzen 9 processor excels in 1080p gaming, but playing at 1440p leaves the middling GeForce RTX 4060 GPU shouldering most of the burden. The display is exceptionally colorful, which is handy for content creators, but since this is a gaming laptop it would be better served with improved HDR capabilities. If battery life isn't a priority, the Strix G17 could serve as a designer by day and a gamer by night."
