The ASUS ROG Strix G17 offers a high refresh rate and greater screen resolution, which is excellent for gaming and high-resolution tasks, but it's slightly heavier than the ASUS TUF Gaming A17, making it less portable. The TUF Gaming A17, while having a lower screen resolution, compensates with a lighter build and reportedly longer battery life, which can be better for on-the-go use. Both have similar performance capabilities; decision should be based on your preference for display quality versus battery life and portability. Give Feedback

How the ASUS ROG Strix G17 and the ASUS TUF Gaming A17 compare to other laptops
"The Asus ROG Strix G17 is an attractive but unbalanced gaming laptop. Its potent AMD Ryzen 9 processor excels in 1080p gaming, but playing at 1440p leaves the middling GeForce RTX 4060 GPU shouldering most of the burden. The display is exceptionally colorful, which is handy for content creators, but since this is a gaming laptop it would be better served with improved HDR capabilities. If battery life isn't a priority, the Strix G17 could serve as a designer by day and a gamer by night."
"There is one big question that needs an answer. Is the TUF Gaming A17 FA707 a better purchase than the ROG Strix G17 G713R (2022)? Well, it depends. Undoubtedly, the Strix is the more premium product. Arguably the biggest advantage it has over its TUF fellow is in regards to the display. ASUS TUF Gaming A17 A707’s IPS panel has a Full HD resolution, comfortable viewing angles, and a very good contrast ratio."
