When choosing between the ASUS ROG Strix G16 and the MSI Summit E16 Flip, consider that the ASUS will excel in gaming and intensive tasks due to more powerful hardware but at a higher cost and with less portability. Meanwhile, the MSI offers versatility and moderate power suitable for business and creative work, with better portability and potentially lower expense. The MSI's flip design also caters to those who might benefit from a 2-in-1's tablet mode. If you prioritize performance and gaming, lean towards the ASUS; if you value flexibility and portability without needing top-tier performance, the MSI may suit you better. Give Feedback

NotebookCheck

Marc Herter | March 2023
"With the mobile Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080, the Asus ROG Stix G16 hits the sweet spot between performance and cooling. The G16 also does not have to shy away from direct comparison with its supposedly stronger family member, the ROG Strix Scar 18 with its RTX 4090, as most benchmarks of the two laptops are very close to each other. Moreover, the G16 should be significantly cheaper. Depending on the supplier, the price difference here could be almost US$ 2,000. In the 2023 model series, Asus has significantly leveled out the differences between the two high-end lines."

NotebookCheck

Sascha Mölck | October 2022
"The MSI Summit E16 Flip is a 2-in-1 laptop with pen, 16:10 display, and RTX 3050 Ti. The Summit E16 Flip is a 2-in-1 laptop from the business segment that primarily targets creative users. MSI combines a 16-inch touchscreen in the 16:10 format with a powerful midrange GPU. While the 2-in-1 laptop from MSI isn't meant for everybody, it should definitely attract some followers. The touchscreen display (2,560 x 1,600 pixels) covers the DCI-P3 color space. This is accompanied by stable viewing angles, a good color reproduction, short response times, and a good contrast level."
