The ASUS ROG Strix G16 typically offers strong gaming and engineering performance with a robust build but can be heavier, making it less ideal for frequent travel. If portability and a sleeker design are priorities, the MSI Stealth GS77 is a more suitable choice, though usually at a higher cost. Keep in mind that better portability can sometimes mean compromising on the highest possible performance or cooling efficiency compared to bulkier gaming models. Also, consider battery life, as gaming laptops often have shorter battery spans, so if long-lasting battery is crucial, it may affect your decision. Give Feedback

How the ASUS ROG Strix G16 (2024) and the MSI Stealth GS77 compare to other laptops
"With the mobile Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080, the Asus ROG Stix G16 hits the sweet spot between performance and cooling. The G16 also does not have to shy away from direct comparison with its supposedly stronger family member, the ROG Strix Scar 18 with its RTX 4090, as most benchmarks of the two laptops are very close to each other. Moreover, the G16 should be significantly cheaper. Depending on the supplier, the price difference here could be almost US$ 2,000. In the 2023 model series, Asus has significantly leveled out the differences between the two high-end lines."
"The MSI Stealth GS77 is better than the GS76... mostly. The GS77 is a few steps forward and a few steps back from the GS76. Improvements are numerous including the stronger and more rigid skeleton, higher resolution webcam, larger clickpad, easier serviceability, relatively similar battery runtimes, newer display options, and higher performance at about the same TDP and TGP levels as before. CPU performance is better than expected even when compared to other laptops with Core i7 or Core i9 processors. The newer model feels more substantial than the outgoing one for higher quality impressions as well."
