The ASUS ROG Strix has a robust build and offers high performance for gaming and demanding tasks, but it's heavier, which can be a downside if you plan to carry it around frequently. On the other hand, the Gigabyte Aorus 15X is generally less expensive and might also provide good gaming performance, but the build quality or component choices might not match the ASUS. If you prioritize top-tier gaming and don't mind the extra weight and cost, the ASUS is an excellent choice. If you are budget-conscious and need something easier to transport, then the Gigabyte could be a better fit. Give Feedback

How the ASUS ROG Strix G16 (2024) and the Gigabyte Aorus 15X compare to other laptops
"With the mobile Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080, the Asus ROG Stix G16 hits the sweet spot between performance and cooling. The G16 also does not have to shy away from direct comparison with its supposedly stronger family member, the ROG Strix Scar 18 with its RTX 4090, as most benchmarks of the two laptops are very close to each other. Moreover, the G16 should be significantly cheaper. Depending on the supplier, the price difference here could be almost US$ 2,000. In the 2023 model series, Asus has significantly leveled out the differences between the two high-end lines."
"The Gigabyte Aorus 15X is a strong showing of Raptor Lake and RTX 4000 series. While the Aorus had trouble keeping up in older games like Grand Theft Auto V, it nudged past the competition in Shadow of the Tomb Raider. It also flexed its next-generation muscle in Far Cry 6 and Borderlands 3. While we were impressed with the overall build quality and design of the Aorus 15X, the keyboard lacked good tactile feedback. The display performed well in real-world testing despite its on-paper shortcoming with brightness, but the speakers are lackluster at best."
