When choosing between the ASUS ROG Strix G16 and the Dell XPS 13 Plus, consider your primary use. The ASUS ROG Strix G16 excels in gaming and intensive tasks due to its robust hardware but is less portable and will likely have a shorter battery life. Meanwhile, the Dell XPS 13 Plus offers a balance of performance and portability, making it suitable for general use and mobility with a longer battery life, but it may not handle demanding tasks as well as the ASUS. Choose based on whether performance in high-end tasks or portability and battery life is more crucial for your needs. Give Feedback

How the ASUS ROG Strix G16 (2024) and the Dell XPS 13 Plus compare to other laptops
"With the mobile Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080, the Asus ROG Stix G16 hits the sweet spot between performance and cooling. The G16 also does not have to shy away from direct comparison with its supposedly stronger family member, the ROG Strix Scar 18 with its RTX 4090, as most benchmarks of the two laptops are very close to each other. Moreover, the G16 should be significantly cheaper. Depending on the supplier, the price difference here could be almost US$ 2,000. In the 2023 model series, Asus has significantly leveled out the differences between the two high-end lines."
"The XPS 13 Plus is powerful, but has its drawbacks. Dell did not only update the processor generation, but also decided to offer two completely different models from now on. The XPS 13 Plus gets the faster Intel Alder Lake-P chips, and the Core i7-1260P in our review unit offers good performance figures. However, the device once again shows the problems of the current Intel CPUs, because the high performance requires a lot of power. This affects the battery runtime as well as temperatures, so the new model (even with the Optimized power profile) is louder than the older model."
