When considering the ASUS ROG Strix, you're looking at a high-performance machine designed for gaming and heavy tasks like video editing or 3D modeling, but it will be heavier and have a shorter battery life, making it less ideal for mobility. On the other hand, the Dell Inspiron is likely to be more affordable, lighter, and have a longer battery life, suited for general use and basic tasks, but it might struggle with the demanding applications that the ASUS handles with ease. Consider what you'll use your laptop for most and whether portability or power is your priority. Give Feedback

How the ASUS ROG Strix G16 (2024) and the Dell Inspiron 16 5625 compare to other laptops
"With the mobile Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080, the Asus ROG Stix G16 hits the sweet spot between performance and cooling. The G16 also does not have to shy away from direct comparison with its supposedly stronger family member, the ROG Strix Scar 18 with its RTX 4090, as most benchmarks of the two laptops are very close to each other. Moreover, the G16 should be significantly cheaper. Depending on the supplier, the price difference here could be almost US$ 2,000. In the 2023 model series, Asus has significantly leveled out the differences between the two high-end lines."
"I think there is fair value in the Inspiron 16 this year. Very little has changed with the laptop and my opinion hasn’t really changed either. In other words, I like it. Overall, I think the pros far outweigh the cons of this laptop and the price is certainly justifiable. I found this to be a great typer and I could potentially work all day on this machine, provided I don’t need a graphics card."
