For a balance of performance and cost, the ASUS ROG Strix G16 is a solid choice with its powerful processor and graphics card, making it suitable for gaming and engineering tasks. It offers a high refresh rate screen, which is great for fast-paced action, though it lacks the portability and premium display quality of the Lenovo Yoga Pro 9i. The Lenovo, on the other hand, boasts a superior Mini LED display with higher resolution and color accuracy, touchscreen capability, and a sleeker design, which is ideal for general use and creative work. It's also more compact and lightweight, enhancing its portability. However, it comes at a higher price point and with a less powerful GPU, which might not satisfy intense gaming or engineering software needs. Consider the ASUS for performance-intensive tasks and the Lenovo for portability and a superior display experience. Give Feedback

NotebookCheck

Marc Herter | March 2023
"With the mobile Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080, the Asus ROG Stix G16 hits the sweet spot between performance and cooling. The G16 also does not have to shy away from direct comparison with its supposedly stronger family member, the ROG Strix Scar 18 with its RTX 4090, as most benchmarks of the two laptops are very close to each other. Moreover, the G16 should be significantly cheaper. Depending on the supplier, the price difference here could be almost US$ 2,000. In the 2023 model series, Asus has significantly leveled out the differences between the two high-end lines."
