The ASUS ROG Strix G16 is superior in performance, with a better processor and graphics card, making it suitable for intensive tasks like 3D rendering, machine learning, and gaming. However, it's larger, heavier, and likely has a shorter battery life, which affects portability. On the other hand, the ASUS Vivobook 15 is more budget-friendly, lighter, and probably has a longer battery life, making it more suitable for general use and portability but not ideal for high-performance applications. Consider what's more important for you: high performance for demanding tasks, or affordability and portability for everyday use. Give Feedback

The ASUS ROG Strix G16 is good for general use, while the ASUS Vivobook 15 is only fair.
The ASUS ROG Strix G16 offers superior performance for general use with a high-end CPU and ample RAM, supporting intensive tasks, while the ASUS Vivobook 15 is equipped with a basic CPU and lesser RAM, making it more suitable for lighter use. The ROG Strix G16 also boasts a high-quality display and a larger battery, ensuring vivid visuals and longer use without charging, which, along with its gaming-grade graphics, explains its lower portability compared to the lighter and more compact Vivobook 15, designed for casual use and easier carrying.

The ASUS ROG Strix G16 is good for gaming and AI, while the ASUS Vivobook 15 is poor.
The ASUS ROG Strix G16 is equipped with a high-end GPU, Nvidia RTX 4060, and offers a 165Hz screen refresh rate, making it well-suited for gaming and 3D applications where smooth visuals and rapid image rendering are crucial. In contrast, the ASUS Vivobook 15 has a basic integrated GPU with a standard 60Hz screen refresh rate, which means it can handle light gaming and 3D tasks, but it won't deliver the same level of performance and fluidity in visuals as the Strix G16.

The ASUS ROG Strix G16 is very good for engineering and design, while the ASUS Vivobook 15 is only fair.
The ASUS ROG Strix G16, with a higher-end CPU and GPU, more RAM, and a superior screen quality is better suited for demanding engineering and design tasks than the ASUS Vivobook 15, which offers basic performance with less processing power and graphics capability, making it only fair for those uses. However, the Vivobook 15 is more portable and quiet, which might be beneficial for users who prioritize mobility and a quieter work environment over high-performance specs.

The ASUS ROG Strix G16 has a better screen than the ASUS Vivobook 15 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The ASUS ROG Strix G16's superior resolution and brightness along with a high-quality panel type make it well-suited for general tasks, offering clear and vibrant visuals. "With the mobile Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080, the Asus ROG Stix G16 hits the sweet spot between performance and cooling. The G16 also does not have to shy away from direct comparison with its supposedly stronger family member, the ROG Strix Scar 18 with its RTX 4090, as most benchmarks of the two laptops are very close to each other. Moreover, the G16 should be significantly cheaper. Depending on the supplier, the price difference here could be almost US$ 2,000. In the 2023 model series, Asus has significantly leveled out the differences between the two high-end lines."
"The Asus VivoBook 15 is a quiet office notebook with a strong screen. However, the VivoBook 15 still has room for improvement. Office and internet applications as well as simple games do not pose any major challenges for the VivoBook - this is ensured by the built-in combination of Ryzen 7 5700U APU and 16 GB of RAM. Heat and noise emissions are acceptable. But, the laptop has weaknesses that should not be present at this level: lack of keyboard lighting, a slow memory card reader, no fast USB-C port (USB 3.2 Gen 2 or Thunderbolt 4) with Power Delivery and DisplayPort. Battery runtimes can only be described as average."
