The ASUS ROG Strix G15 has a better screen than the MSI Thin GF63 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, and content creation.
The ASUS ROG Strix G15 offers a balance of resolution and brightness, making it versatile for everyday tasks and detailed engineering work, while its limited color gamut hinders its performance in professional design scenarios. The MSI Thin GF63 provides adequate brightness and resolution for standard tasks and some engineering applications, but like the ASUS, it doesn't offer the wide color range preferred by designers. Both laptops fall short for gaming and 3D use due to their lower refresh rates, which detract from the smooth visual experience critical in fast-paced gaming environments.

How the ASUS ROG Strix G15 and the MSI Thin GF63 compare to other laptops
"The ASUS ROG Strix G15 is a successful high-performance 15-inch laptop. The Asus ROG Strix impresses with an elaborate design and fast hardware. The latter can unleash its potential well in the large 15-inch case and achieve a decent performance boost compared to the previous generation. Especially the stunning 300 Hz display as well as the RTX 3070 and its generous TDP give gamers their money's worth. Asus didn't neglect seemingly small details, either, such as the keyboard and the maintenance options. The ROG Strix G15 offers a lot of pure performance and excellent workmanship in a 15-inch format, but connectivity leaves something to be desired."
"The MSI GF63 Thin 11SC can be an admirable value for gamers and power users on a minimal budget. For just $599 as reviewed in its base model, its Intel Core i5 H-class processor and Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 graphics perform much better than low-wattage CPUs and integrated graphics. That said, this is a light-class gaming laptop. Low scores in our demanding gaming benchmarks indicate using lower visual-quality settings will be required for playable performance."
