The ASUS ROG Flow X16 is a high-performance machine designed for demanding tasks such as gaming, 3D rendering, and machine learning, with its powerful AMD Ryzen 9 processor and Nvidia RTX 3060 graphics card. It offers a larger 16-inch touchscreen display with a high refresh rate and resolution, making it suitable for fast-paced motion and detailed visual work. However, it's heavier and less portable, with a bulkier design and shorter battery life, which might not be ideal for frequent travelers. On the other hand, the ASUS Vivobook S 14 OLED is a more compact and portable option with a vibrant OLED screen that's excellent for general use and media consumption. Its Intel Core Ultra processor and Intel Arc graphics provide good performance for everyday tasks, but it may not handle intensive engineering tasks or high-end gaming as well as the ROG Flow X16. The Vivobook S 14 OLED also lacks a touchscreen and has a lower refresh rate, which might affect the smoothness of motion on the screen. In summary, if you prioritize performance for demanding applications and are okay with a larger, heavier device with less battery life, the ROG Flow X16 is the better choice. However, if portability, a stunning display for general use, and longer battery life are more important to you, the Vivobook S 14 OLED would be the way to go. Give Feedback

Christian Hintze | June 2023
"Above all else, the Asus ROG Flow X16 is one thing - versatile! It is a thin, mobile work device, it's a 2-in-1, tablet, a powerful workstation and even a gaming PC. But something even more surprising: It does all of these things really well without making any big blunders. It's anything but a lazy compromise. Because, despite its compact dimensions and 2-in-1 functionality, the hardware isn't throttled and boasts, at least in turbo mode, above-average performance."
