The ASUS ROG Flow X13 is a higher-end laptop with a stronger processor and graphics card, making it suitable for intensive tasks like gaming, 3D rendering, or machine learning. It's also more portable, has a higher resolution touchscreen with a faster refresh rate, and offers light-up keyboard features. However, it's significantly more expensive than the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3. The IdeaPad Slim 3, on the other hand, is budget-friendly with decent battery life and it's more suited for general use or everyday tasks. It has a larger screen but with a lower resolution and standard refresh rate, and won't handle intensive tasks as well as the ASUS. If you're looking for performance and portability for demanding applications and can afford it, go with the ASUS. If you need a laptop for basic tasks and are price-conscious, the Lenovo is a more economical choice. Give Feedback

NotebookCheck

Sebastian Bade | February 2021
"The Asus ROG Flow X13 is not an off-the-shelf convertible. This quickly becomes clear when you take a closer look at the technical specs. The AMD Ryzen 9 5980HS is a state-of-the-art SoC with 8 cores and 16 threads, which also makes the 2-in-1 interesting as a work device. With 32 GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD, gamers are also well taken care of. The dedicated Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 Max-Q fits well into the overall concept and ensures a solid 3D performance. With the eGPU dock, which is equipped with a GeForce RTX 3080, the small convertible transforms into a full-fledged desktop replacement in terms of performance."

Rtings

Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, and John Peroramas | May 2023
"The Lenovo IdeaPad 3i is decent for use as a workstation. Its Intel CPU and integrated graphics can only handle light productivity tasks, not demanding workloads like video editing or 3D graphics. You also can't do any color-critical work because the available displays have a narrow color gamut. It has a good port selection, but its USB-C lacks Thunderbolt 4 support. On the upside, it has a comfortable keyboard and doesn't get hot or loud under load."
