If you prioritize high performance for 3D rendering, machine learning, or gaming, along with superior portability and battery life, the ASUS ROG Flow X13 is an excellent option, albeit at a premium price. However, it has a smaller screen compared to the Lenovo. On the other hand, the Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3 offers a larger screen and is significantly more affordable while still being capable of gaming and general use, but it trades off some performance and portability. The IdeaPad may also have shorter battery life and is heavier which could be a concern if you need to carry it around frequently. Choose the ASUS if performance and portability are your top priorities and budget is not a constraint, otherwise, the Lenovo might fit the bill for budget-conscious users who need a capable machine for casual gaming and everyday tasks. Sebastian Bade | February 2021
"The Asus ROG Flow X13 is not an off-the-shelf convertible. This quickly becomes clear when you take a closer look at the technical specs. The AMD Ryzen 9 5980HS is a state-of-the-art SoC with 8 cores and 16 threads, which also makes the 2-in-1 interesting as a work device. With 32 GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD, gamers are also well taken care of. The dedicated Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 Max-Q fits well into the overall concept and ensures a solid 3D performance. With the eGPU dock, which is equipped with a GeForce RTX 3080, the small convertible transforms into a full-fledged desktop replacement in terms of performance."

Florian Glaser | October 2022
"The Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3 is one of the most powerful RTX 3050 Ti laptops. If you disregard the mediocre quality of the case in terms of the material and workmanship, Lenovo has created a successful budget gaming laptop with the IdeaPad Gaming. Thanks to high TDPs and constant performance development, the Core i5-12500H and GeForce RTX 3050 Ti are able to show their full power, while in contrast, the (mostly slower) competitors deliver a better battery life. However, hardly any of the alternative laptops are able to reach the image quality of the Gaming 3. Most of the competitors are left behind in terms of the color space and brightness."
