The ASUS ROG Flow X13 is a high-performance 2-in-1 laptop ideal for gaming, 3D rendering, and machine learning tasks, offering top-tier GPU and CPU capabilities, a high refresh rate screen, and excellent color coverage, making it suitable for intensive gaming and engineering tasks. However, it comes with a premium price tag and is less portable due to its weight and size. In contrast, the ASUS Vivobook S 14 OLED is a more affordable option with a vibrant OLED display, solid general performance, and exceptional battery life, making it a great choice for everyday use and media consumption. It's also more compact and lightweight, enhancing its portability. While it still handles general tasks well, it may not perform as efficiently in demanding tasks like gaming or intensive engineering work due to its less powerful GPU and CPU compared to the ROG Flow X13. If you prioritize performance for specialized tasks and are willing to compromise on portability and budget, the ROG Flow X13 is the way to go. However, if you're looking for a versatile, everyday laptop with a stunning display and don't intend to push it with heavy gaming or engineering software, the Vivobook S 14 OLED is a more cost-effective and portable choice. NotebookCheck

Sebastian Bade | February 2021
"The Asus ROG Flow X13 is not an off-the-shelf convertible. This quickly becomes clear when you take a closer look at the technical specs. The AMD Ryzen 9 5980HS is a state-of-the-art SoC with 8 cores and 16 threads, which also makes the 2-in-1 interesting as a work device. With 32 GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD, gamers are also well taken care of. The dedicated Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 Max-Q fits well into the overall concept and ensures a solid 3D performance. With the eGPU dock, which is equipped with a GeForce RTX 3080, the small convertible transforms into a full-fledged desktop replacement in terms of performance."
