The Apple MacBook Pro 16 has a better screen than the MSI Raider GE76 for general use, engineering and design, software development, and content creation, while the MSI Raider GE76 has a better screen for gaming and AI.
The Apple MacBook Pro exhibits exceptional screen brightness and resolution with a panel type optimized for vivid and accurate color representation, making it excellent for general tasks and engineering work that demand precise color work, but its typical refresh rate makes it less suited for 3D applications where fluid motion is key. The MSI Raider GE76 also offers a high-quality display with strong resolution and brightness, suitable for general use and capable of covering wider color gamuts necessary for professional design, yet for gaming and 3D where higher refresh rates are critical, its screen falls short. Choosing between them depends on whether priority is given to color accuracy and resolution for productivity tasks or to refresh rate for smooth real-time 3D rendering and gaming experiences.

How the Apple MacBook Pro 16 (Late 2023) and the MSI Raider GE76 compare to other laptops
"The Apple MacBook Pro 16 2023: M2 Max challenges GeForce RTX 3080 Ti. The new MacBook Pro 16 2023 with the M2 Max SoC is the most powerful laptop Apple has on sale right now. While we do not get the expected performance and efficiency improvements from completely new 3 nm chips, which we expected ahead of the launch, the 2023 model is still a solid update. The CPU of the M2 Max can be up to 20 % faster than the old model and we also see an advantage of 25-30 % for the GPU with 38 cores. However, both components also consume more power, so the efficiency did not change that much under maximum load."
"The MSI Raider GE76: with Alder Lake and RTX 3080 Ti to gaming heaven. Yes, MSI could improve some aspects (like the quality of the webcam), but the manufacturer offers a very convincing and balanced overall package. The biggest advantage is definitely the immense performance potential. The combination of Core i9-12900HK, GeForce RTX 3080 Ti, 32 GB DDR5 RAM and two NVMe SSDs offers a lot of performance for the next couple of years and plenty of power for 3D applications. Most titles would run smoothly on an external 4K screen no matter the quality preset. We came away impressed with the integrated 360 Hz panel's fast response times and good color accuracy."
