The Apple MacBook Pro 16 (Late 2023) is a premium option that's more expensive but offers a higher performance for intensive tasks like engineering or machine learning, with a more powerful processor, more RAM, and better GPU compared to the MSI Cyborg 15. The MacBook also has a longer battery life, a higher resolution Mini LED screen with superior color accuracy, and it's lighter which makes it more portable. However, the MSI Cyborg 15 is significantly less expensive with a dedicated gaming-grade graphics card which makes it a better option for intensive gaming despite its lesser general performance, shorter battery life, and lower resolution screen. If you prioritize portability and performance for tasks other than gaming and are willing to invest more, the MacBook Pro is the way to go. If gaming is your focus and cost is a concern, consider the MSI Cyborg 15. Give Feedback

The Apple MacBook Pro 16 has a better screen than the MSI Cyborg 15 for general use, AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The MacBook Pro 16 has an exceptional screen that offers high resolution and brightness, which enhances the user experience in general use scenarios, and its wide color gamut ensures accurate colors for engineering and design tasks. The MSI Cyborg 15 has a moderate screen that provides acceptable visibility and clarity for everyday tasks and is satisfactory for engineering and design work, but its color range might not be as expansive. For 3D applications where the refresh rate is crucial, the MacBook Pro's focus on resolution and color accuracy over refresh rate makes it less suitable, while the MSI's screen, although fair for other uses, also falls short in the refresh rate needed for smooth 3D rendering and gaming.

How the Apple MacBook Pro 16 (Late 2023) and the MSI Cyborg 15 compare to other laptops
"The Apple MacBook Pro 16 2023: M2 Max challenges GeForce RTX 3080 Ti. The new MacBook Pro 16 2023 with the M2 Max SoC is the most powerful laptop Apple has on sale right now. While we do not get the expected performance and efficiency improvements from completely new 3 nm chips, which we expected ahead of the launch, the 2023 model is still a solid update. The CPU of the M2 Max can be up to 20 % faster than the old model and we also see an advantage of 25-30 % for the GPU with 38 cores. However, both components also consume more power, so the efficiency did not change that much under maximum load."
"The focus of the MSI Cyborg 15 lies on a compromise of performance, mobility, and power consumption. Due to the reduced performance settings, the CPU and GPU perform below their capabilities. Nonetheless, their computing power is still sufficient for FHD gaming at high to maximum settings even then. The power consumption, which is low for a gaming laptop, can be translated into a good battery life. Realistic values of 7 to 8 h are still possible, despite the relatively small battery capacity of 53.5 Wh. Unfortunately the USB-C port doesn't offer any support for Power Delivery, which would be a sensible feature in the case of the Cyborg."
