If performance in intensive engineering tasks, professional creative work, or high-end gaming is crucial for you, the Apple MacBook Pro 16 might be the better choice due to its powerful processors and enhanced graphics capabilities. However, this laptop comes at a premium price and is less portable than the Dell Inspiron 14. On the other hand, if you're looking for a more affordable and portable option with a touchscreen and sufficient power for general use, the Dell Inspiron 14 could meet your needs while offering double the storage capacity. Keep in mind that the battery life on the Dell is considerably shorter, and its performance in demanding tasks won't match that of the MacBook Pro. Give Feedback

Andreas Osthoff | February 2023
"The Apple MacBook Pro 16 2023: M2 Max challenges GeForce RTX 3080 Ti. The new MacBook Pro 16 2023 with the M2 Max SoC is the most powerful laptop Apple has on sale right now. While we do not get the expected performance and efficiency improvements from completely new 3 nm chips, which we expected ahead of the launch, the 2023 model is still a solid update. The CPU of the M2 Max can be up to 20 % faster than the old model and we also see an advantage of 25-30 % for the GPU with 38 cores. However, both components also consume more power, so the efficiency did not change that much under maximum load."

Eric Grevstad | August 2023
"We see no shame in an economy laptop missing the four-star mark. Frankly, we considered giving the Inspiron 14 2-in-1 three-and-a-half stars for its low price, competitive performance, and long battery life. Unfortunately, working with a screen that can't deliver at least 300 nits of brightness is simply no fun to the point of detrimental. Still, if you're looking for a convertible laptop on a tight budget, it's worth keeping an eye on Dell's sales and discounts. That Lavender Blue model is fairly tempting."
