If you prioritize high performance for general computing, 3D modeling, machine learning, or engineering tasks, and are willing to invest in a high-end device, the Apple MacBook Pro 16 with its advanced processor and GPU will excel in these areas. It also offers best-in-class keyboard, webcam, speaker, and build quality with an impressive battery life – making it suitable for professionals who require longevity and reliability without needing to frequently charge. This laptop, however, is heavier and less portable compared to the ASUS. Alternatively, the ASUS Zenbook Duo is a more affordable option and is lighter, enhancing its portability. It features a unique two-screen design which may be advantageous for multitasking and productivity. Nevertheless, it has lower performance capabilities in comparison and may not be as well suited for highly intensive tasks. It also has shorter battery life which might require more frequent charging. For gaming, neither is designed as a dedicated gaming laptop, but both can handle casual gaming. The MacBook Pro 16 has better color accuracy and a higher-quality display, which means it's better suited for color-critical work such as photo and video editing. Give Feedback

Andreas Osthoff | February 2023
"The Apple MacBook Pro 16 2023: M2 Max challenges GeForce RTX 3080 Ti. The new MacBook Pro 16 2023 with the M2 Max SoC is the most powerful laptop Apple has on sale right now. While we do not get the expected performance and efficiency improvements from completely new 3 nm chips, which we expected ahead of the launch, the 2023 model is still a solid update. The CPU of the M2 Max can be up to 20 % faster than the old model and we also see an advantage of 25-30 % for the GPU with 38 cores. However, both components also consume more power, so the efficiency did not change that much under maximum load."

Allen Ngo | May 2020
"The Asus ZenBook Duo's second screen is like the Apple Touch Bar, but better. Most would agree that having two screens instead of one can really boost productivity and the ZenBook Duo is no different in this regard. It's tough going back to just one screen after becoming accustomed to spacious dual-screen setups. For a laptop form factor, however, users will have to accept some compromises. Firstly, weight is the most obvious drawback as the system is several hundred grams heavier than a regular ZenBook 14. Additionally, colors on the second screen will not be as vivid as the main display."
