Choose the Apple MacBook Pro 16 (Late 2019) if you're looking for a device with a higher resolution display and longer battery life, which makes it suitable for general use and media consumption, and prefer macOS. On the other hand, the Eluktronics RP-15 offers a more powerful graphics card and a higher refresh rate screen, better suited for gaming, 3D work, or machine learning tasks; it also has a customizable RGB keyboard and runs Windows 11 Home, which might be more compatible with certain engineering software. Remember, the MacBook Pro is more lightweight and portable, while the RP-15, though heavier, provides ports for expandability. The price difference should be weighed against these considerations based on your specific needs. Give Feedback

The Apple MacBook Pro 16 has a better screen than the Eluktronics RP-15 for engineering and design, software development, and content creation, while the Eluktronics RP-15 has a better screen for gaming and AI.
The Apple MacBook Pro 16's Retina display offers vibrant colors and high resolution, making it excellent for general use and engineering/design tasks that require accurate color representation, but its standard refresh rate limits its appeal for 3D applications where smoother motion is key. The Eluktronics RP-15 provides a high-quality display with good resolution and color accuracy for both day-to-day tasks and professional work in engineering and design. However, despite being from a brand known for gaming systems, it lacks a high refresh rate panel, which detracts from its effectiveness for gaming and 3D content where fluid visuals are crucial.

How the Apple MacBook Pro 16 (Late 2019) and the Eluktronics RP-15 compare to other laptops
"The Apple MacBook Pro 16 2023: M2 Max challenges GeForce RTX 3080 Ti. The new MacBook Pro 16 2023 with the M2 Max SoC is the most powerful laptop Apple has on sale right now. While we do not get the expected performance and efficiency improvements from completely new 3 nm chips, which we expected ahead of the launch, the 2023 model is still a solid update. The CPU of the M2 Max can be up to 20 % faster than the old model and we also see an advantage of 25-30 % for the GPU with 38 cores. However, both components also consume more power, so the efficiency did not change that much under maximum load."
"To conclude, I’m genuinely impressed with Eluktronics and what they have been able to deliver with the RP-15. You see this is all about maximizing performance, cooling, and giving users the most flexible I/O, and then wrapping it into a chassis that doesn’t feel super cheap. Let’s also not forget the price point, I think they have really nailed it in that department."
