The Apple MacBook Pro 14 is less expensive and offers a high-quality display, longer battery life, and great performance for general use, with enough power for 3D tasks and engineering. Its portability is good, and it features a Mini LED screen that's better for color-sensitive work. The MSI Stealth GS77 has a larger screen, more storage, and more RAM, making it better suited for intensive gaming, 3D, and engineering tasks. However, it's more expensive, heavier, and has a shorter battery life, making it less portable. If portability and screen quality are priorities, go with the MacBook Pro. If you need high performance for demanding tasks and gaming, consider the MSI Stealth. Give Feedback

The Apple MacBook Pro 14 has a better screen than the MSI Stealth GS77 for general use, engineering and design, and software development.
The Apple MacBook Pro 14's screen excels for general use and engineering tasks mainly due to its high resolution, brightness, and wide color gamut, ensuring crisp visuals and accurate color representation important for detail-oriented work. However, for 3D applications, its lower refresh rate could limit smoothness and responsiveness when compared to specialized gaming displays. Conversely, the MSI Stealth GS77 offers excellent screen quality for general use and engineering with similar attributes but may fall short for gaming and 3D due to a less optimal refresh rate, though it's still quite capable for a range of tasks.

How the Apple MacBook Pro 14 (2023) and the MSI Stealth GS77 compare to other laptops
"In the Apple MacBook Pro 14 2023, the M2 Pro is slowed down. From the improved 5nm process, the new M2 Pro is a very solid upgrade. Graphics performance has increased by about 25% in tandem with a clear improvement in efficiency. The processor has also seen a performance leap of up to 20%, but this is accompanied by an increase in consumption of up to 25%. Fundamentally, Apple its maintaining its advantage over AMD and Intel, particularly in optimized applications where the results are very good in view of the comparatively low power consumption."
"The MSI Stealth GS77 is better than the GS76... mostly. The GS77 is a few steps forward and a few steps back from the GS76. Improvements are numerous including the stronger and more rigid skeleton, higher resolution webcam, larger clickpad, easier serviceability, relatively similar battery runtimes, newer display options, and higher performance at about the same TDP and TGP levels as before. CPU performance is better than expected even when compared to other laptops with Core i7 or Core i9 processors. The newer model feels more substantial than the outgoing one for higher quality impressions as well."
