Choosing between the Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2022) and the Razer Blade 15 depends on your priorities. If you value a silent, fanless operation, longer battery life, and a lighter and more portable device for general use or work that isn't graphically intensive, the MacBook Pro is an excellent choice. Conversely, if you need a laptop with higher performance for 3D rendering, machine learning tasks, gaming, or a screen with a higher refresh rate for faster motion, along with a larger screen and more storage, the Razer Blade 15 is suitable for those demands, despite being heavier and having a louder fan noise when under load. The Razer Blade 15 is very good for gaming and AI, while the Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2022) is only fair.
The MacBook Pro 13 has an integrated Apple M2 GPU, which is less powerful than dedicated gaming GPUs, and its screen refresh rate is standard at 60Hz, making it less suitable for fast-paced 3D gaming. On the other hand, the Razer Blade 15 includes a high-end Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti GPU and a high refresh rate of 240Hz, delivering smoother visuals and enhanced gaming performance, plus it runs on Windows which supports a wider range of popular games compared to MacOS.

The Razer Blade 15 is very good for engineering and design, while the Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2022) is good.
The Razer Blade 15 stands out for engineering and design due to its stronger Intel processor, a high-end Nvidia GPU, and double the RAM of the MacBook Pro, which are crucial for intensive computational tasks and 3D rendering. Although the MacBook Pro offers excellent screen quality and a fanless, silent operation which is great for design work, it falls short in raw performance compared to the Razer Blade's superior specs, making the latter a more powerful choice for demanding engineering applications, albeit with reduced battery life and increased weight.

The Razer Blade 15 has a better screen than the Apple MacBook Pro 13 for gaming and AI, and software development.
The Apple MacBook Pro 13 offers a high-resolution display and excellent brightness, making it suitable for general use, and its wide color gamut supports detailed work in engineering and design. However, its standard refresh rate limits its capability for 3D applications. The Razer Blade 15, while also excelling in resolution and color accuracy for engineering and design tasks, might fall short for gaming and 3D due to a less than optimal refresh rate, despite its potential for good overall image quality.

How the Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2022) and the Razer Blade 15 compare to other laptops
"The MacBook Pro 13 is still a very good subnotebook. The 2022 MacBook Pro 13 might look like recycling at first, because the device is completely identical to the old model expect for the new M2 SoC. We have to admit that we were surprised to see another iteration of the MBP 13 as well. The laptop is obviously familiar, but this does not change the fact that it is still a very good subnotebook. You get an excellent chassis with good stability, a very good display, good input devices and the new M2 chip is very powerful and efficient."
"The 2022 Blade 15 offers roughly 15 to 25 percent faster graphics performance and 20 percent faster CPU performance over last year's Core i7-11800H and RTX 3080 model. Thankfully, the system doesn't need to run noticeably louder or warmer to achieve faster results, but both power consumption and battery life take a hit. The higher consumption in particular appears to be a trend amongst many 12th gen Core laptops including the Schenker Uniwill Technology GM7AG8P or MSI Vector GP66 when compared to their previous generation counterparts. We're also glad to not see below-average CPU performance which was the case for the 10th gen Core i7-10875H model."
