The Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2022) offers better build quality, display resolution, and battery efficiency, with a fanless design that ensures silent operation, making it ideal for general use and professional tasks that benefit from high color accuracy and a sharp display. It is also more portable due to its lighter weight and smaller footprint. On the other hand, the MSI GF63 Thin, while less expensive, provides dedicated graphics with the Nvidia GTX 1650 Max-Q, better suited for gaming or entry-level 3D tasks. It has a larger screen size but lower resolution and color accuracy, and is heavier, making it less portable. The MSI has a wider array of ports, which might be beneficial for connectivity but runs Windows 10 Home compared to the MacBook Pro's macOS, which could influence your decision based on your preferred operating system or software requirements. The Apple MacBook Pro 13 has a better screen than the MSI GF63 Thin for general use, AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The Apple MacBook Pro 13 typically employs a high-resolution Retina display with bright and vibrant colors, making it excellent for general use and engineering applications where color accuracy is important. However, it usually doesn't have a high refresh rate, which is a drawback for 3D applications. On the other hand, the MSI GF63 Thin may offer a more modest display in terms of resolution and color accuracy, adequate for everyday tasks and some engineering work, but lacks the high refresh rate and superior panel technology required for optimal 3D and gaming experiences.

"The MacBook Pro 13 is still a very good subnotebook. The 2022 MacBook Pro 13 might look like recycling at first, because the device is completely identical to the old model expect for the new M2 SoC. We have to admit that we were surprised to see another iteration of the MBP 13 as well. The laptop is obviously familiar, but this does not change the fact that it is still a very good subnotebook. You get an excellent chassis with good stability, a very good display, good input devices and the new M2 chip is very powerful and efficient."
"If you leave aside the meagre port selection (no card reader, no DisplayPort, no Thunderbolt 3 or USB 3.1 Gen2), the fan control that could be improved (idle mode!) and the relatively dark and slow display, the MSI GF63 Thin 9SC does not have any major weaknesses. The 15-inch gamer is compact, has a low weight and offers a good price-to-performance ratio, which should please gamers that are looking for both a portable and an affordable gaming notebook. Input devices, battery life, case quality and performance are all appropriate for this purchase price."
