The Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2022) offers longer battery life, higher build quality, and a less noticeable fan noise, making it ideal for those who value a quiet and durable machine with great portability. Despite its higher price, it excels in color accuracy, suitable for tasks like photo editing. Conversely, the Lenovo IdeaPad Pro 5i, while more affordable and equipped with more storage and memory, shines in demanding tasks like 3D rendering, machine learning, and engineering with its powerful processor and dedicated graphics. It has a larger screen size, which could be more comfortable for extended use, but this adds to its weight, reducing portability. If performance in intensive applications is your main concern and you don't mind a bit of extra weight, the Lenovo might serve you better. Give Feedback

How the Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2022) and the Lenovo IdeaPad Pro 5i compare to other laptops
"The MacBook Pro 13 is still a very good subnotebook. The 2022 MacBook Pro 13 might look like recycling at first, because the device is completely identical to the old model expect for the new M2 SoC. We have to admit that we were surprised to see another iteration of the MBP 13 as well. The laptop is obviously familiar, but this does not change the fact that it is still a very good subnotebook. You get an excellent chassis with good stability, a very good display, good input devices and the new M2 chip is very powerful and efficient."
"Lenovo’s IdeaPad Pro 5i represents an impressive opening salvo for Meteor Lake in the ultraportable space against familiar foes from AMD and Apple. Not only does the Core Ultra 5 125H processor provide good performance across the board, but battery life remains a strong point against the Acer Swift Edge 16 with its AMD Ryzen 7 7840U processor. It can’t quite match the endurance of the 15-inch MacBook Pro, but the gap is shrinking."
