As you are considering the Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2022) and the Lenovo IdeaPad 5 15", your decision will hinge on several key differences between these two laptops. The MacBook Pro offers a higher build quality, a more vibrant display, and overall better performance, especially for resource-intensive tasks like video editing or graphic design. It also boasts a longer battery life and a lighter, more portable design, which is ideal if you need to work on the go. However, these benefits come at a higher price point.
On the other hand, the Lenovo IdeaPad 5 may be more budget-friendly and offers a larger screen, which could be preferable for multitasking or if you prefer a more spacious display. Bear in mind that the IdeaPad's larger size makes it less portable. The performance of the IdeaPad is generally suitable for everyday tasks, but it may not handle demanding applications as well as the MacBook Pro. If your work involves less intense software and you're sensitive to price, the IdeaPad can be a solid choice. Give Feedback

How the Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2022) and the Lenovo IdeaPad 5 15" compare to other laptops
"The MacBook Pro 13 is still a very good subnotebook. The 2022 MacBook Pro 13 might look like recycling at first, because the device is completely identical to the old model expect for the new M2 SoC. We have to admit that we were surprised to see another iteration of the MBP 13 as well. The laptop is obviously familiar, but this does not change the fact that it is still a very good subnotebook. You get an excellent chassis with good stability, a very good display, good input devices and the new M2 chip is very powerful and efficient."
"The Lenovo IdeaPad 5 is convincing due to its long battery life. The device scores points especially with its large battery and long battery runtimes combined with its low consumption. The CPU and GPU perform in the test as one would expect, and in line with what was familiar from the somewhat smaller 14-inch sister model, the Lenovo IdeaPad 5 14."
