When choosing between the Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2022) and the HP Envy x360 15", consider your priorities. The MacBook Pro is more expensive, offers better build quality, a higher-resolution display, and longer battery life, making it well-suited for demanding tasks and general use. Its performance is strong, particularly for engineering tasks, yet it is not designed for intensive gaming. It's more portable than the HP Envy, making it a good choice if you're on the go. However, the HP Envy x360 is less expensive, has a larger 15.6-inch touchscreen display, and runs Windows 11. It is a convertible 2-in-1, adding versatility for presentations or media consumption, though it falls short in display quality and battery life compared to the MacBook Pro. If budget and Windows compatibility are key, and you don't mind a larger form factor, the HP Envy x360 may be more appropriate. Give Feedback

The Apple MacBook Pro 13 has a better screen than the HP Envy x360 15" for general use, AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The Apple MacBook Pro 13 delivers vibrant colors and sharp images due to its high resolution and bright display, benefiting general users and professionals in engineering and design who require accurate color representation. However, its lower refresh rate makes it less ideal for 3D applications where smoother on-screen motion is key. The HP Envy x360 15" offers a decent screen for everyday tasks and sufficient for design work, but its fair color coverage and modest screen qualities do not provide the fidelity required for precision engineering tasks or the high-refresh experience desired for gaming and 3D content.

How the Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2022) and the HP Envy x360 15" compare to other laptops
"The MacBook Pro 13 is still a very good subnotebook. The 2022 MacBook Pro 13 might look like recycling at first, because the device is completely identical to the old model expect for the new M2 SoC. We have to admit that we were surprised to see another iteration of the MBP 13 as well. The laptop is obviously familiar, but this does not change the fact that it is still a very good subnotebook. You get an excellent chassis with good stability, a very good display, good input devices and the new M2 chip is very powerful and efficient."
"Despite its good looks, stellar webcam and comfortable keyboard, the Envy x360 15 is hard to recommend because of its dim, 16:9 display. If the display isn't an issue for you, just be sure to wait for a good sale price. Otherwise, a more modern two-in-one with a 16:10 display such as the Dell Inspiron 16 2-in-1 or Lenovo Yoga 7i 16 provides a larger workspace without adding much to the size and weight of the system."
