The Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2022) offers a higher battery life, better screen quality, and a fanless design which means silent operation. It has a high build quality, a great keyboard, but a higher price. It's less suitable for intensive gaming, 3D rendering and machine learning due to its integrated GPU. On the other hand, the Gigabyte G5 is less expensive and better suited for gaming, engineering, and 3D tasks due to its dedicated Nvidia graphics card. It has a larger screen and a higher refresh rate, but the tradeoff is in battery life and screen quality. It's also heavier, making it less portable. Choose the MacBook Pro for portability and silent operation with everyday tasks, or the G5 for more demanding applications and a better gaming experience. Give Feedback

The Apple MacBook Pro 13 has a better screen than the Gigabyte G5 for general use, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
For general use, the MacBook Pro 13 offers a high-resolution Retina display that provides clear and vibrant images with excellent brightness, making it a standout choice for everyday tasks and media consumption. In contrast, while the Gigabyte G5's screen is adequate for general use, its lower resolution and brightness don't offer the same visual clarity or vibrancy as the MacBook. When it comes to engineering and design, the MacBook Pro's screen covers a wider range of colors, including DCI-P3 and Adobe RGB, crucial for precise color work, whereas the G5's display, despite being fair, might not render colors as accurately; meanwhile, in 3D environments and gaming where fast-paced visuals are key, the MacBook's screen is limited by a standard refresh rate, while even though the Gigabyte G5 doesn't excel, it offers a higher refresh rate, which is essential for smoother motion and less blur during rapid movements.

How the Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2022) and the Gigabyte G5 compare to other laptops
"The MacBook Pro 13 is still a very good subnotebook. The 2022 MacBook Pro 13 might look like recycling at first, because the device is completely identical to the old model expect for the new M2 SoC. We have to admit that we were surprised to see another iteration of the MBP 13 as well. The laptop is obviously familiar, but this does not change the fact that it is still a very good subnotebook. You get an excellent chassis with good stability, a very good display, good input devices and the new M2 chip is very powerful and efficient."
"The Gigabyte G5 KE is a midrange gaming laptop that checks most boxes. Gigabyte makes good use of the Core i5-12500H and RTX 3060 Laptop GPU combo, and we find no untoward issues with overall performance. The dual-fan quad-heatpipe cooling arrangement does well to ensure that the underlying hardware doesn't throttle under load. That being said, the display is below par when compared to 2023 standards, especially when competing devices."
