If performance in intensive engineering tasks and gaming is a priority and you don't mind a heavier laptop with reduced portability, the Gigabyte Aorus 7 can be a great choice as it has a powerful CPU and GPU. On the other hand, if you prefer a more portable and silent laptop with long battery life for general use or if you're a fan of macOS, then the Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2022) would suit you better, albeit at a potentially higher price. Keep in mind that the MacBook's screen is superior in terms of color and resolution, while the Aorus 7 excels in high refresh rates for gaming. Give Feedback

The Apple MacBook Pro 13 has a better screen than the Gigabyte Aorus 7 for engineering and design, software development, and content creation, while the Gigabyte Aorus 7 has a better screen for gaming and AI.
The Apple MacBook Pro 13's high-resolution display offers crisp text and vibrant images, making it a pleasure for everyday tasks, and its superior color accuracy appeals to engineering and design professionals who require precise hues for their work. However, the MacBook's lower refresh rate isn't ideal for 3D applications where smoother motion representation is crucial. In contrast, despite its sufficient screen quality for daily tasks, the Gigabyte Aorus 7 lacks the color fidelity needed for high-level engineering and design tasks and falls short in providing the high refresh rate desired by gamers and 3D developers.

How the Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2022) and the Gigabyte Aorus 7 compare to other laptops
"The MacBook Pro 13 is still a very good subnotebook. The 2022 MacBook Pro 13 might look like recycling at first, because the device is completely identical to the old model expect for the new M2 SoC. We have to admit that we were surprised to see another iteration of the MBP 13 as well. The laptop is obviously familiar, but this does not change the fact that it is still a very good subnotebook. You get an excellent chassis with good stability, a very good display, good input devices and the new M2 chip is very powerful and efficient."
"The Gigabyte Aorus 7 is a gaming laptop that is pitched at perhaps the hardest market to get right: the mid-range. So, unlike high-end gaming laptops that can throw the latest and greatest components together in a bid to attract gamers with plenty of money to spend, or budget gaming laptops that can make wise cuts that are justified as long as the price is low enough, mid-rangers like the Gigabyte Aorus 7 have to balance the two."
