The Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2022) excels in build quality, sustained performance, and longer battery life, making it well suited for tasks that require high reliability and extended use without plugging in. It operates silently without a fan, and its display offers excellent color coverage, benefiting creative professionals. In contrast, the Framework Laptop 13 (2023) stands out with its repairability, modular design allowing for component upgrades, and a higher scoring webcam. While its battery life is less than the MacBook Pro, it has better portability due to its lighter weight. For general use, both perform well; however, for 3D rendering or intensive engineering tasks, their integrated GPUs limit performance. Neither laptop is suitable for intensive gaming. If cost is a factor, the Framework Laptop tends to be slightly less expensive and offers a touch more flexibility with ports and internal accessibility. Give Feedback

How the Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2022) and the Framework Laptop 13 (2023) compare to other laptops
"The MacBook Pro 13 is still a very good subnotebook. The 2022 MacBook Pro 13 might look like recycling at first, because the device is completely identical to the old model expect for the new M2 SoC. We have to admit that we were surprised to see another iteration of the MBP 13 as well. The laptop is obviously familiar, but this does not change the fact that it is still a very good subnotebook. You get an excellent chassis with good stability, a very good display, good input devices and the new M2 chip is very powerful and efficient."
"If you’re thinking of investing in your first Framework, now is the time. The kinks and rough edges have all been smoothed out and this is a very nice machine with a bright, upgradable future. The only reason I can think of to wait is the AMD model, which I’ll be sure to test as soon as I can get my hands on one."
