The decision between the Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2022) and the Dell Inspiron 15 3525 hinges on your preferences and needs. The MacBook Pro is known for its build quality, high-resolution display, and long battery life, making it ideal for professionals who need a reliable machine for a variety of demanding tasks and prefer the MacOS ecosystem. On the other hand, the Dell Inspiron is generally more affordable, offers a larger screen, and often comes with ports that are more compatible with a wide range of accessories without requiring adapters. It runs Windows, which might better suit your needs if you rely on software that is not available for MacOS or if you prefer Windows for gaming or general use. If portability and performance are paramount, the MacBook Pro is a strong contender; however, if you are on a budget or require a larger screen for your work or entertainment, the Dell Inspiron is worth considering. The Apple MacBook Pro 13 has a better screen than the Dell Inspiron 15 3525 for general use, AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
For general use, the MacBook Pro 13 stands out due to its high-resolution display and brightness, providing crisp and vivid images, while the Dell Inspiron 15's lower resolution and brightness make for a less sharp and dimmer experience. When it comes to engineering and design, the MacBook Pro's wider color gamuts ensure accurate color representation which is crucial for detail-oriented tasks, unlike the Dell Inspiron which may not reproduce colors as precisely. However, for tasks like 3D and gaming that rely heavily on smooth motion, the MacBook Pro falls short in refresh rate, leading to potential choppiness, while even with similar refresh rate issues, the Dell Inspiron's lower overall screen quality already makes it less suitable for these activities.

How the Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2022) and the Dell Inspiron 15 3525 compare to other laptops
"The MacBook Pro 13 is still a very good subnotebook. The 2022 MacBook Pro 13 might look like recycling at first, because the device is completely identical to the old model expect for the new M2 SoC. We have to admit that we were surprised to see another iteration of the MBP 13 as well. The laptop is obviously familiar, but this does not change the fact that it is still a very good subnotebook. You get an excellent chassis with good stability, a very good display, good input devices and the new M2 chip is very powerful and efficient."
"Dell's Inspiron 15 (3525) is a peppy-enough and affordable-enough home or remote work machine, but it's not very ambitious; it does little to go beyond the basics. More the concern: It’s readily overshadowed by a number of machines that outperform and outclass it. Even if the Inspiron can get the job done today, its competition has the mettle to keep doing the job tomorrow in a way the Inspiron simply can’t promise. Many of its slightly higher-end rivals have to be on sale (and frequently are) to match it on price, but the Inspiron 15 (3525) is outclassed even by some similarly priced options, making it a difficult recommendation."
