The Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2022) offers a more premium experience with higher build quality, better screen resolution, and longer battery life, making it ideal for professionals who need reliable performance and a high-quality display. However, it is generally more expensive and might not be the best choice for heavy gaming or tasks requiring robust graphics capabilities. On the other hand, the ASUS Vivobook 16 is typically much less expensive and offers a larger screen with decent performance for a lower price; this might appeal to budget-conscious users who still need a laptop capable of handling demanding tasks like engineering software, albeit with lower specs in comparison. The Vivobook also offers more storage and RAM, but it may compromise on battery life and portability due to its larger size and weight. Give Feedback

How the Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2022) and the ASUS Vivobook 16 compare to other laptops
"The MacBook Pro 13 is still a very good subnotebook. The 2022 MacBook Pro 13 might look like recycling at first, because the device is completely identical to the old model expect for the new M2 SoC. We have to admit that we were surprised to see another iteration of the MBP 13 as well. The laptop is obviously familiar, but this does not change the fact that it is still a very good subnotebook. You get an excellent chassis with good stability, a very good display, good input devices and the new M2 chip is very powerful and efficient."
Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, Yannick Khong | May 2023
"The ASUS Vivobook 16 M1605 (2023) is a budget Windows laptop. It's available with various AMD Ryzen 5000 and 7000 U-series CPUs and integrated graphics. You can only get 8GB of RAM; however, there's an empty SO-DIMM slot if you want to upgrade it. It has an FHD+ (1920 x 1200) 16:10 IPS display, a full-size keyboard with a Numpad, a 720p webcam, and Wi-Fi 6E wireless connectivity. Ports include three USB-As, one USB-C, an HDMI, and a headphone jack. The USB-C supports charging but no video output."
