The MacBook Pro 13 (2022) is less expensive and more portable with good performance for general use, while the MacBook Pro 16 (2021) offers greater performance for 3D, machine learning, gaming, and engineering tasks due to its more powerful processor and GPU, but it's heavier and costs more. If you prioritize a larger, higher-resolution display with better color accuracy for professional creative work, the MacBook Pro 16 is a stronger option. However, if you desire a lighter laptop for daily tasks with longer battery life, the MacBook Pro 13 would be the better choice. Give Feedback

The Apple MacBook Pro 16 has a better screen than the Apple MacBook Pro 13 for general use, AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The MacBook Pro 13 and 16 models boast high-resolution displays with bright panels, ensuring crisp, clear images and vibrant colors, making them fantastic for general use. For engineering and design, these laptops cover an extensive range of colors with their DCI-P3 and Adobe RGB gamuts, important for professionals who need accurate color representation. However, they lack in higher refresh rates that are crucial for 3D applications, which can lead to less smooth visuals in fast-paced scenes or while manipulating complex models.

"The MacBook Pro 13 is still a very good subnotebook. The 2022 MacBook Pro 13 might look like recycling at first, because the device is completely identical to the old model expect for the new M2 SoC. We have to admit that we were surprised to see another iteration of the MBP 13 as well. The laptop is obviously familiar, but this does not change the fact that it is still a very good subnotebook. You get an excellent chassis with good stability, a very good display, good input devices and the new M2 chip is very powerful and efficient."
"The Apple MacBook Pro 16 2023: M2 Max challenges GeForce RTX 3080 Ti. The new MacBook Pro 16 2023 with the M2 Max SoC is the most powerful laptop Apple has on sale right now. While we do not get the expected performance and efficiency improvements from completely new 3 nm chips, which we expected ahead of the launch, the 2023 model is still a solid update. The CPU of the M2 Max can be up to 20 % faster than the old model and we also see an advantage of 25-30 % for the GPU with 38 cores. However, both components also consume more power, so the efficiency did not change that much under maximum load."
