The Apple MacBook Air 15 has a better screen than the ASUS Vivobook 15X for general use, AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The Apple MacBook Air 15 is favored for general use and engineering due to its superior display with higher resolution and brightness, coupled with a wide color gamut that ensures accurate color reproduction critical for design work. However, its poor refresh rate diminishes its suitability for 3D applications that require smooth motion. In contrast, the ASUS Vivobook 15X offers serviceable display quality for everyday and engineering tasks but lacks in both high color accuracy and refresh rates, making it less optimal for color-sensitive work and fluid 3D visualization.

How the Apple MacBook Air 15 (2023) and the ASUS Vivobook 15X compare to other laptops
"The Apple MacBook Air 15 is boringly good. The new MacBook Air 15 is a very good, but also boring device, because apart from the larger screen and the higher price, there are no differences compared to the smaller MacBook Air M2 from last year. No new processor, no additional ports, just the usual basic hardware - but the overall package is extremely good and it simply works. Above all, the lack of fans is an aspect that should not be underestimated in everyday use. In our opinion, the Air could be a lot better, but Apple goes easy on itself here."
"All in all, my day on the Vivobook had its ups and downs. It is a really pretty and well-built device, and it had all of the functionality I needed to get me through my browser-based workload. But the speakers weren’t my favorite, and the battery life was just too short."
