The Apple MacBook Air is lighter, has a better screen resolution, and longer battery life, perfect for general use and portability but less suited for gaming or intensive engineering due to the integrated GPU. The MSI Katana 15 offers more storage, a higher RAM, a dedicated powerful GPU that supports gaming and heavy tasks, but it is heavier and has a shorter battery life. If portability and display are your priorities, the MacBook Air excels, while the MSI Katana 15 is better for performance-intensive tasks like gaming and engineering. Give Feedback

The Apple MacBook Air has a better screen than the MSI Katana 15 for general use, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The Apple MacBook Air boasts a high-resolution display with vibrant colors and excellent brightness, making it ideal for general use and demanding engineering and design tasks that require accurate color representation. However, its lower refresh rate limits its performance for 3D applications where smoother visuals are crucial. The MSI Katana 15, with fair resolution and brightness, is adequate for everyday tasks and some engineering uses, but its color accuracy and refresh rate aren't geared towards high-end gaming or 3D modeling where these features are more critical for an optimal experience.

How the Apple MacBook Air (2022) and the MSI Katana 15 compare to other laptops
"The Apple MacBook Air M2 Entry is a very good, but too expensive daily MacBook. The new MacBook Air M2 is undoubtedly once again a very good mobile companion, but we are still a little bit disappointed on a very high level, which is definitely connected with the increased price point. The new chassis is extremely slim and the front edge is no problem during typing, but the bezels are pretty wide for a modern device and in addition with the vertical space required for the notch, the new Air has larger footprint than some Windows rivals."
"The MSI Katana 15 B12 combines a Gen12 CPU with an RTX 4050, which is actually not a bad idea for a budget gamer. The CPU is anything but bad and the GPU in the Katana 15 proves to be significantly more efficient than last year's models. However, our main point of criticism for budget gamers is the price: while you can get budget laptops with RTX 3060 from around US$800, you pay a whole US$1,499.99 here! The efficiency advantages of the RTX 4050 do not justify this price premium."
