For better performance in general use and engineering tasks, the ASUS Zenbook S 13, with more RAM and a higher performance processor, would be a better choice. However, it costs more than the ASUS Zenbook 14X, which is less expensive but has less storage, half the RAM, and a less powerful GPU which might not be as suitable for certain 3D, machine learning, and engineering applications. Both have OLED screens with high resolution, but the Zenbook S 13 has a slightly higher brightness and color coverage. The 14X has a higher refresh rate, which is better for fast motion, such as in gaming. Portability is slightly better for the S 13 due to its lower weight. Despite a similar battery capacity, the S 13 has better battery life for typical usage. The 14X has a full-sized HDMI port and an extra USB-C port which might be advantageous if connectivity is a priority. Consider your budget, need for performance, and portability when choosing between these two Zenbooks. Give Feedback

How the ASUS Zenbook S 13 and the ASUS Zenbook 14X compare to other laptops
"The Asus Zenbook S 13 is the slimmest OLED ultrabook worldwide struggles with annoying fans. The new Zenbook S 13 leaves us with mixed feelings, particularly since last year's model was so good. Asus has completely reworked the device, making the laptop noticeably slimmer. The result also looks good and the case makes a great impression, particularly also in terms of the stability. The new plasma ceramic surface feels great, and there are no problems with fingerprints. In addition, it now includes some of the known connections such as an HDMI port and a regular USB-A connection, which is a good achievement in such a slim device."
"With the Zenbook 14X, Asus has a 14-incher in its range that is - mostly - a joy to use. First, there is the colorful OLED panel with 3K resolution that displays the sRGB and DCI-P3 color spaces. The Zenbook is also at the forefront in terms of workmanship, input devices and connections with 2x Thunderbolt 4 ports and a generous keyboard layout. A pleasure to use, the Zenbook 14X is a solid, very well-built subnotebook that sits well on the table. A runtime of five hours, however, is below average for a high-end subnotebook nowadays. The OLED screensaver causes increased power consumption when in idle mode."
