The Acer Swift X (2022) is good for general use, while the ASUS Vivobook Go 12 is poor.
The Acer Swift X (2022) provides a strong CPU, more RAM, and a higher-quality screen, making it good for general use, whereas the ASUS Vivobook Go 12, with its less powerful CPU, lower RAM, and lower-quality screen, does not perform as well in these aspects. Additionally, the Acer's better battery life and build quality, along with the capability to handle more intensive tasks, further differentiate it from the ASUS Vivobook Go 12, which, despite its excellent portability, offers less robust features and overall performance for general use.

The Acer Swift X has a better screen than the ASUS Vivobook Go 12 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The Acer Swift X offers a higher resolution display with better brightness and panel technology, which makes for crisp and clear images ideal for everyday tasks. Engineers and designers would appreciate the wider color gamut in the Swift X, resulting in more accurate color representation for their precise work. However, for gaming and 3D applications, the Acer Swift X falls short due to a lower refresh rate, making it less smooth for fast-paced visuals compared to laptops designed specifically for those purposes.

"The Swift X is an Acer for entry-level gaming. With the entry-level graphics chip, our Acer not only beats every single current AMD and Intel iGPU, but also Intel's dGPU Iris Xe Max. However, despite being a GDDR6 version, the GTX does not match the expectations set by its own counterparts from our database. This may be a result of the single fan, which only produces moderate noise levels under load. The performance level of the thin and light 1.4 kg (~3.09 lbs) 14-inch laptop is impressive nonetheless."
